I can't look in-depth right now, but new tests are always useful. I
probably need to see that I can make them only execute if ES is there (and
the other components). A key point is that they must be able to work on a
more or less default system OR carry everything that is needed to setup
them within themselfes.

If I manage to have a deeper look and merge before I leave, I'll do.
Otherwise after my vacation. But please keep them flowing :-)
