does anybody have a clue,  why we do have "--with-rrsync" configure option to optionally build/install rrsync helper script , whereas rsync-ssl always seems to be included by default ?

wouldn't it make sense to also include rrsync by default or have --disable-rsync-ssl ?

adding --with-rsync-ssl , i.e. disabling by default probably won't be a good idea, as it would be missing in distros/build as maintainers need to adjust their build env then....

furthermore, rsync-ssl lives in source root dir, whereas rrsync is in support - wouldn't rsync-ssl
also belong there ?
