Does anyone know: did this ever get addressed? I'm still on an ancient
rsync version, on which I patched the ACL stuff myself. I'd love to have
the newer features of a modern rsync, but I'm blocked on these ACL issues.
And unfortunately (1) the handling of ACLs has changed enough that my
previous work is useless, and (2) I just haven't had the time to revisit
this myself.
