You could setup the backups of the 200 clients. However, it would be
easier to setup the backup of a couple of file servers? That would
simplify the situation. Then you can say to people that If you file is on
the server then it is backed up.

If you want to backup the data on 200 client machines you may certianly
use LBackup, I would be interested to know how this works out for you, if
you take this path. However, I am not aware of anyone using LBackup to
backup data on that many workstatons.

Workstatons tend to be moved around and changed far more often than
servers. If you are looking for a tool which leveradges rsync and is aimed
at client backups then you may want to look at BackupPC. You could
certianly use LBackup and BackupPC together. If you are going to backup
200 workstations then the combination of these tools would be somthing to
consider. 

For example, once you consolodate the data with BackupPC, you could then
use LBackup to move the data off site.
