When I do:

./configure
make

I get the following:

$ make
autoconf -o configure.sh
autoheader && touch config.h.in
Configure files changed -- perhaps run:
  ./config.status --recheck; ./config.status
make: *** [configure.sh] Error 1

This is new...
It's triggered by this make rule:

configure.sh config.h.in: configure.in aclocal.m4

configure.in is 14 seconds younger than configure.sh, and 13 seconds
younger than config.h.in. Was it touched somehow?
