I'd suggest trying to run it as | "bash configure" and see if that helps.
GNU bash, version 2.05b.0(1)-release (i386-slackware-linux-gnu) Doing "bash configure" goes into a (presumable the same) loop. There is a file called "configure.lineno" in the source directory that is being rewritten over and over and over. It looks like the "configure" script with $LINENO replaced by line numbers. -- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Phil Howard KA9WGN | http://linuxhomepage.com/ http://ham.org/ | | (first name) at ipal.net | http://phil.ipal.org/ http://ka9wgn.ham.org/ | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- -- To unsubscribe or change options: http://lists.samba.org/mailman/listinfo/rsync Before posting, read: http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html
