Hi All, I'm new to this group so please be gentle, I have scoured the internet and gone all through the archives & FAQ's looking for an answer to this.
I'm using v2.5.5 of rsync which I compiled from source on a Solaris 9 box. I'm connecting to a Linux machine over SSH and pulling files back to me. The section from the log that shows the error with vvv verbosity is... wrote 16 bytes read 506 bytes 348.00 bytes/sec total size is 8639208 speedup is 16550.21 rsync error: unexplained error (code 255) at main.c(925) _exit_cleanup(code=255, file=main.c, line=925): about to call exit(255) I also have a separate job which pushes files to the linux box but is otherwise identical which I cannot get to show this error :-\ Can anyone please help me track down what is causing this??
