Hi all,
Does anyone know of a Solaris port of the rsync kernel daemon?
I know Solaris has it's own internal method (auditd) of tracking kernel
activity but this is cumbersome and not half as elegant as rsync! I
basically want to keep my live box in sync. with my fallback box; running
the command line Rsync progam on a regular basis is taking to long to
travers the directory tree's so I want a method of notifying an application
with the exact file that has been updated so I can then signal rsync to only
sync. that file.
The Linux version running as a daemin with the --dist option does exaclty
this (when coupled with the kernel-module).
Any help would be much appreciated; If no one has done this port yet, I will
attempt it myself but I just didn't want to 're-invent the wheel'!

Best regards,
