As I have mentioned before these sorts of reports are impossible to answer without basic information. The info needed is: - versions of OS at both ends - versions of ssh at both ends - versions of rsync at both ends (2.4.6 from your mail) - netstat output at both ends when frozen the last one is particularly important. With that info we have a chance of narrowing down the cause. Otherwise I'd just be making a blind guess :) Cheers, Tridge
