AAARG. Sorry, I looked at rsync...
1.2.27 on solaris was compiled with #define USE_PIPES 1
openssh 2.1.1p1 came from openbsd.org, not from RedHat (my collegue
installed the boxes). I looked in config.h.in of openssh-2.1.1p4, there
is no occurance of PIPE or pipe in it. Does anybody know, how openssh
works (pipes or socketpairs)?
