I have a Nagios monitoring system. The nagios graphing plugins use rrd files for the performance data. So I have to use rrd. The wind speed values can be averaged normal. So one dataset is enough. But for the wind direction I can not use the built in aggregat functions, so I have to use extra datasets for every timeframe.
