Yes the file exists. First time I ran the program, there was a warning about the nonexistent file. I created, and then tried to update. I am running debian 6, and my rrdcached version is 1.4.3. > mmap seems to be at the root of a lot of issues, it’s a shame there isn't a > commandline switch to disable it.
