Hi, RrdToolKit which is part of RRD4J is a Java-library implementing RRDTool-like features. It uses the same file-types, features, everything, it's basically a clone with some enhancements. Since it can use the RRD-file as a storage backend and it's basically meant to be a Java-implementation of RRDTool with a few extra's I'd wager you can use it to modify RRD-files created with rrdtool. However. this is not the RRD4J user-list, it's the RRDTool user-list. Such a question should be asked towards the RRD4J community as they would know. http://code.google.com/p/rrd4j/ Kind regards, -- Daniele Sluijters
