I am using ArcGIS 10, my python script will be a statistical analysis tool
in arcmap. ArcGIS supports Python 2.6.

I installed *http://www.python.org/download/releases/2.7.2/Windows X86-64
MSI Installer
(2.7.2)<http://www.python.org/ftp/python/2.7.2/python-2.7.2.amd64.msi>
[1] <http://www.python.org/download/releases/2.7.2/#id5> (sig).
Arcgis 10 is still using 2.6. I have been unable to change that. Thats why
I was looking for a rpy2 version which can be run in arcmap with python
2.6.

I also have R 2.15.1. I recently installed *rpy2 2.2.6* but as I have
described before was unable to install it correctly. I got the previously
mentioned error message and I could not *import ryp2* in *IDLE*.

Please help!

Regards,
Avishek
