I thought this seemed familiar - Laurent Oget had the same issue with rpy2 back in 2008 (that and a clash with an rpy header file which used to have the same name except for the case - since renamed). R does not install this header and it has to be acquired manually. This should be mentioned in the README file (might be worth adding a whole section for Windows once we have it running again).
