Hello,
I'm am trying to experiment with R through python and am having trouble
installing. I use Enthought's EPD 4.3 python distribution. I have Xcode
installed and downloaded the R 2.9 mac binary (which I understand includes
the shared build -- whatever that is). I get the following error:

>From the final line, it looks like there may be some problem with GCC. I
noticed that rpy2 uses GCC 4.3 and that Xcode uses 4.01. Could this be the
issue? If so, can anyone tell me how to update my gcc? (unfortunately I have
no experience with C, compilers, etc.)
Many thanks,
dk
