On Linux, the /tmp drive should get cleared out automatically (perhaps at reboot, which isn't going to happen very often on a production server?). On Windows however, the temp files are never deleted and I recall having to manually clear out hundreds of them by hand every so often. I'd been meaning to mention this on the mailing list for some time, so thank you for the reminder! It would be great if rpy and rpy2 could "clean up" after themselves.
