I get the silent Windows crash after downloading the rpy 1.0.0 package and running:
python setup.py build --compile=mingw32 install python >>> import rpy I'm updating mingw32 to see if this makes a difference. Will rpy work with R 2.6.0? I see no mention of which versions of R are supported. Any advice to get rpy to work with my set of R, python and OS? I have used an older version before and am quite keen on it. BTW every news item on this page: http://rpy.sourceforge.net/news.html has the heading "RPy 0.4.6 now available" which must be out of date.
