Greetings -- in R, one can index a data.frame as either a list of
columns or as a matrix. In rpy, looks like it's a hash of lists.
Moreover, despite the fact I made NumPy available before building
rpy, the type of lists is 'list'. How do I check that NumPy arrays
are used indeed? What are the options for indexing dataframes?

Also -- what about the sandbox and its r.py? Are they ready for
prime time?

Another question -- plotting on Mac works in an X11 xterm, but the
beautiful native Rcmndr and its Quartz graphics device is not used.
Is there a way to plot in Quartz windows on a Mac?

Cheers,
Alexy
