Category: Build Group: rpy >Status: Closed >Resolution: Out of Date Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: philip_riggs (priggs) Assigned to: Gregory Warnes (warnes) Summary: RPy build fails on Mac OS X Intel Initial Comment: When I try to build RPy on an Intel Mac OS X 10.4 I get the following error: collect2: ld returned 1 exit status lipo: can't open input file: /var/tmp//ccAy7y6A.out (No such file or directory) error: command 'gcc' failed with exit status 1 A search revealed this is a common problem in building universal binaries, and I found this TechNote from Apple: http://developer.apple.com/technotes/tn2005/tn2137.html Has anybody solved this problem? What do I need to change to successfully build RPy on the Intel Mac? Thanks for any help! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Gregory Warnes (warnes) Date: 2007-10-17 23:26 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=9316 Originator: NO Should be working now. -G (Doing devel on OSX 10.4.10) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=453021&aid=1485997&group_id=48422 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
