Dear All, Thanks for the information, Alain. I currently have Rpy installed on windows but also have many Python modules on Linux (Mandriva 2006) and probably will also install RPy there at some moment.
So, I understand that RC2 can be used with any R version from 2.0 to 2.3 but still not with 2.4. Right? Also that the problem of converting matrices is still there.... Im using the method of filling the Rpy matrix row by row (from a recipe in the mail list). It works but it is pretty slow (and ugly) !!! My matrixes are in average around 30 x 30.000... All the best Joaquin Abian rpy-1.0-RC2.tar.gz ? From: Joaquim Abian <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> - 2006-12-14 08:41 dear all, I downloaded rpy-1.0-RC2.tar.gz (december 11,2006) I unzipped it and found rpy-1.0-Beta1.win32-py2.4.exe (august 15, 2006). Im a bit puzzled. Is it correct? Where I could find the list of changes for this version? Is it R240 compatible? What about numpy/R matrixes conversion? Is it working now? Any help would be appreciated!! Joaquin Re: rpy-1.0-RC2.tar.gz ? From: Alain Leblanc <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> - 2006-12-14 08:47 No it is not. I packaged it and it looks like I screwed up. Sorry. I'll try to put up a correct version later today. The only difference between the RC2 and RC1 has to do with the versions of R that are supported. RC1 only supported 2.3.1. RC2 should support everything since 2.0. Are you looking to install it on Win32 or Linux? a 2006/12/14, Joaquim Abian <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > dear all, > > I downloaded rpy-1.0-RC2.tar.gz (december 11,2006) > I unzipped it and found rpy-1.0-Beta1.win32-py2.4.exe (august 15, 2006). > Im a bit puzzled.
