Oh, indeed. Releases can be made via the UI, too (it's just hidden at the
moment in our repo) but just having a release script instead becomes
increasingly more relevant.

Yep, I was going to update the instructions in release_maintenance.md but
thinking about it, we could just put it here, along with a script (see above).
I guess I'll make a separate PR.
