The original idea was to release 4.11.2 final with a couple of very minor tweaks on top of rc1 this Monday, but that obviously didn't happen... and yesterday I discovered a bug ugly enough that it deserves to be fixed *now* and not in some future maintenance update that gets released who knows when.

The bug has technically been present just about forever, but mostly dormant until in rpm >= 4.10 where it causes header sizes to nearly double on install, causing bogus install failures and rpmdb bloat at least. For the gory details, see
http://rpm.org/gitweb?p=rpm.git;a=commitdiff;h=da3a3a14e757ccd517e2eb2a3f0293ff48b3ff7f

Because of that change we're going for another rc "just in case", but final is planned within a week or so, not another 2-3 weeks.

The other changes since rc1 are really minor tweaks, see

or the git changelog:

Oh and the actual download info is, as usual, at
