Thank you very much for the information! And I definitely won't be leaving Rosegarden any time soon. I'm really having fun with this. I'm feeling confident enough now that I'm going to print out the ugly notation for a reference, then start a new file and redo the whole thing now that I have a better idea of how to do it. I appreciate all the hard work you guys do.
I also have one question due to something I was working on today: Is there a way to cause Rosegarden to trigger Hydrogen after it's done playing? They're both going through JACK, if that helps.
