Hey list, from time to time I create some small scores. But something I have not figured out yet is how to get the beautiful repeats that are mentioned in the following post: http://www.rosegardenmusic.com/tutorials/supplemental/n-endings/index.html
Basically this post describes exactly what I want to do. What I did (minimal example): 1. New rosegardenfile 2. Add one single bar with no content. 3. copy it with mouse while holding ctrl+alt (the two instances are colored with the pattern) 4. press print 5. make sure that "use repeats when possible" is checked 6. observe I have two bars in my score and no repeats at all. What works (sort of - not alternate ending): 1. and 2. from above 3. check the repeat box in segment parameters 4. print 5. result is one bar with a rest and a repeat sign. Any help? I cant figure out what could be wrong but the n-ending tutorial does not work for me...
