This whole issue was a big interest area of mine back when I was doing a lot of development work, and I invented the layer wheel. I haven't used Rosegarden for anything of that complexity in some years now. After reading this discussion, I'm making a mental note to go play with some of that with my own hands, and see what it looks like after several years away. Can I figure it out? Does it still work?
