OK, I am half way there: - Bass drum panned to left, routed to a submaster - Bass panned to right, routed to the same submaster - sc2 compressor as plugin in the submaster attack time minimum release time 80 ms threshold minimum ration max makeup gain 12 Now a ducked bass is on the left but a unchanged bass on the right. So I have to look for a mixer plugin to discard the right side and pan the left side to the middle.
