Depends on your PC. I had some problems with Rosegarden running faster and slower. But this wasn't Rosegarden's fault. On Intel Core-CPUs we have 2 mechanisms setting CPU speed: - Speedstep - Turbo Boost While the Linux system timer can handle Speedstep (e.g. set by cpufreqd) it can't handle Turbo Boost. Turbo Boost increases CPU's clock when only one CPU-core need's more power.
