iar apoi formatarea si partitiile sa fie facute asupra /dev/mdX

Oricum urmeaza sa experimentez (la un moment dat) cu offset-uri custom ale gpt-ului dar mai intii eram curios daca s-a jucat cineva cu asta ..

iar intrebarea asta era in contextul de UEFI boot .. teoretic, conform specificatiilor orice partitie cu partition GUID code EF00 (adica C12A7328-F81F-11D2-BA4B-00A0C93EC93B) ar trebui sa fie citita de firmware chiar daca type-ul partitiei (cum e vazut de blkid e linux_raid_member)

am avut supriza ca pe o placa de baza asus + fedora sa nu pot face raid1 la esp desi am reusit pe o combinatie gigabyte + ubuntu

prin urmare as dori sa reusesc sa fac raid1 cu intreg deviceul asa cum am pe systemele bios/mbr si de aia intreb daca a mai incercat cineva (bine, nu doresc chiar ff tare ca teoretic esp-ul poate fi modificat in afara array-ului si apoi la asamblarea de la boot vor fi probleme)

si un pic divagat dar relativ la subiect, o intrebare teoretica:
pentru raid-uri 6 are vreo importanta daca in loc sa fac raid intre partitii fac direct intre deviceuri? in afara de erorile de parted&co care o sa imi zica ca nu exista/nu recunosc tabela de partitie, ar mai fi vreo problema?
