We seek long-term (>2 years) cooperation with four single-minded, top-competent linux system administrators for full-time employment. You will as a team be having major responsibility for the administration of a very high-throughput system with global reach. The systems run a multiple-module backend solution written in / using:
1. Python / PHP 2. C / C++ 3. PostreSQL The administration team will have responsibility for the backend system including its architecture, extending its capacity, and everyday monitoring and management: starting/upgrading/stopping systems, documentation, backup. Competence areas relate to - clustered and distributed systems - security, proper handling of attacks - making minor patches to software to have them work in specific context - usage of CDN:s Fluent english writing and speaking is a plus, as well open source involvement. No server machines will be located in the country, all access will be remote. Employments take off in May - June.
