We have an Anton
Paar 1600C stage with a 0.5mm heating strip. Up to now we have used it for
calcium phosphates which are easy to clean off the heating strip. However we
would like to do some work on some more 'resistant' materials, including
zirconia. Any ideas of suitable methods for cleaning up the PT strip after each
run? I was thinking about fluxing up and then acid digestion, but are there some
better/quicker methods?
