[Rhythmbox-devel] MTP support workaround ?

 So, I'm having trouble connecting my Moto G to RB, and I think this is 
the relevant bug report : 
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rhythmbox/+bug/1108104 . I'm 
on Manjaro, but the problem I guess is the same. Is there a workaround 
for this or is MTP alongside GVFS unusable at this stage?
