Although sending screen shots (or other attachments) to mailing lists isn't popular, you should in general CC replies to the mailing list. In this case I told you how to capture the output to a file, so there was no need for a screenshot. For the benefit of everyone else, I retyped the ouput from the screenshot: $ sudo rhythmbox (rhythmbox:5961): Rhythmbox-WARNING **: Unable to grab media player keys: Could not get the owner of name 'org.gnome.SettingsDaemon': no such name >From a little Google searching, this is a harmless warning which is only of interest if you have a fancy keyboard with multimedia keys like "Play" and "Pause". I think you can ignore this. Your earlier problem was RB not starting the first time you double clicked its icon, but working the second time. Did RB work first time from the command line, or did it require two attempts?
