Today, after a user reported seeing some bizarre lyrics search results, I finally got around to implementing some smarter filtering for results to ensure they bear some relation to what we're searching for.
I ended up doing this for both lyrics and cover art searches. In particular, the approach we use to filter Amazon search results is completely different, and should give far fewer false matches now as well as being more forgiving of spelling and punctuation differences. If you'd like to try it out, I'd suggest removing the cached lyrics and cover images first. Cover images are stored in ~/.cache/rhythmbox/covers/ and lyrics in ~/.lyrics/ (still, due to a gconf schema setting I hadn't noticed until today). If you find anything weird or unexpected, please report it here or on irc and I'll take a look. _______________________________________________ rhythmbox-devel mailing list rhythmbox-devel@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/rhythmbox-devel
