Party mode is at least intended to be more than just maximising the window and removing the window decorations. It's intended for use in situations where you allow other people to use the interface, without giving them full access. It doesn't fully implement this, however. You can read more about exactly what has been implemented here: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=323933 A quick scan of the comments and some testing tells me: - makes the main window full screen size, on top of all other windows, and on all desktops - disables menu items for trashing files or removing them from the library, deleting playlists, and quitting rhythmbox - when a song is double clicked, add it to the play queue rather than playing it immediately Anyone using this should be aware that party mode does not provide any access control on *leaving* party mode, so it doesn't stop anyone who can read menus or mash function keys (f11) from getting at anything else on the machine. _______________________________________________ rhythmbox-devel mailing list rhythmbox-devel@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/rhythmbox-devel
