I had to fix a lot of automake and spec goo; it also turned out that the
fedora .spec needed to be updated because the %makeinstall (instead of
using DESTDIR) broke our prefix-finding hack for the services file.

I'm going to do a cvs snap to rawhide tomorrow I think, but all the
changes to rb itself are in cvs.
