@pwendell So I think another doable plan is to make a shaded Kryo 2.21
artifact. In this artifact, we leave the binary jar file untouched, but make
the POM consistent with the jar file, i.e., don't shade Objenesis in Kryo 2.21.
Shading Kryo 2.22 in org.spark-project.hive:hive-exec (as what you have
already done) should also work, but this inconsistency in Kryo 2.21 is really a
time bomb...
