@davies, I think it is possible to use JSON. and I found some related logic
in https://github.com/apache/spark/blob/master/R/pkg/R/column.R#L191, which
does not work now.
I would rather submit a new JIRA for using JSON for schema serialization,
as this affects not this PR, but previous PR like supporting for ArrayType and
MapType. Lets make the support for StructType work first. @davies, do you agree?
