@markhamstra Makes sense, and thanks for clarifying the point even w/ the
fifo scheduler. I am going to put your explanation in the jira so its easier
for everyone to see the remaining issue.
I have a feeling that the previous fix is actually "good enough" for
deprioritizing this for the customer -- with your expanded explanation I'll get
some confirmation. In any case I'll probably try to take a look at this soon
since I'm pretty focused on the scheduler at the moment.
