Hi, The Plastic support is very old and hasn’t been actively maintained for a while. It was originally a contribution from the Plastic devs, but we haven’t had patches in years. I’m not certain it’s even compatible.
However, we do have officially-supported Plastic support on our roadmap, with work going into it as soon as one other piece of work is complete. So I’ll have more on that before long, but right now, I’m sorry to say that there isn’t a suitable workaround in current releases.
