I would like stretch to remain for QA purposes at least until we release the last 9.x point release. There are still some packages which FTBFS in stretch: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=893077 I am well aware that this is not the main purpose of reproducible-builds, but it's a secondary purpose which I still consider very useful.
