Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
The Gnome Power Manager Applets, e.g. (and specifically) the Inhibit Applet, are missing from Natty. This is also a known issue for Fedora 14. >From my understanding of the Fedora bug report, it is a packaging issue. Certainly the code is still present in the G-P-M source repository. I have written a command-line utility to control the inhibit state, which I will attach to provide people with a workaround. It could be grown into a suitable GUI replacement, e.g., for Unity. ** Affects: gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: gnome-power-manager (Fedora) Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Bug watch added: Red Hat Bugzilla #648072 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=648072 ** Also affects: gnome-power-manager (Fedora) via https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=648072 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Registry Administrators, which is the registrant for Fedora. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/697241 Title: [natty] G-P-M Applets Missing _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~registry Post to : registry@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~registry More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
