You have been subscribed to a public bug: Click the "Laptop battery (estimating...)" label and power statistics are shown. The statistics appear to correctly show amount of energy, energy when full, energy design and percent of current energy.
Rate is always shown as zero. The icon in the panel does change state from charging to full and several increments of discharging. The percentage of charge and time remaining are never shown in the fly over help. The system is a HPG60-530US and I'm running Ubuntu 10.10, Kernel Linux 2.6.35-24-generic, GNOME 2.32.0 NOTE: when I use a thumb drive and boot 32-bit Ubuntu from the thumb drive the battery indicator applet shows battery percent and time remaining as expected. ** Affects: gnome-power Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Indicator applet 0.4.6 perpetually shows batter status "Laptop battery (estimating...)" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/694483 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Registry Administrators, which is the registrant for gnome-power. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~registry Post to : registry@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~registry More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
