Just to throw a spanner in the works, I am still seeing this problem with Bryan's patch (comment #35) in all three of the following scenarios:
1) libneon27-gnutls built from Maverick sources with patch manually applied. 2) libneon27-gnutls built from Natty sources in Maverick. 3) Using the libneon27-gnutls binary package in Natty.
