Hi Jim, my 2 cents regarding the following text from the proposed charter changes:
"The working group may also take on work to develop specifications that are related to the EPP or RDAP registration processes, describe the information exchanged between entities involved in Internet identifier registration that are using the RDAP or EPP protocols. This decision will be made in consultation with the responsible AD. “ 1) Wat is meant by "EPP or RDAP registration processes”? registration of extensions? or do you mean registration of objects in a shared databse? but RDAP is not used for registration process, just for lookups. 2) “ may also take on work to develop specifications that are related to ….” is not very specific, one could argue that almost everything somewhat related to EPP/RDAP would be something regext can work on. i know the current charter may be somewhat too strict, but this new text might be going too far in the other direction. - Maarten > Op 28 apr 2025, om 15:48 heeft James Galvin <gal...@elistx.com> het volgende > geschreven: > > Two weeks ago the Chairs distributed a proposed revised charter and opened a > review period for the working group.
