Caution: This email originated from outside the organization. Do not click links or open attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe. Hi, Since we are in the midst of discussing the RDAP Extensions draft [1], should that draft also consider the sunsetting of an RDAP extension? AFAIK, no RDAP extension has been completely sunset at the IANA RDAP Extensions registry [2] level but that could change in the future. Thanks, Jasdip [1] https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-ietf-regext-rdap-extensions/<https://secure-web.cisco.com/1nrmIeNAfDVUxrYs06cWzcOW07QTCvJ1enXCptUutELFGLkb9cVr3dasiBRZzTI-bogO3_Kz2MWa3agXM6jCX_qbhTlZzChUnioELAnO1XIuSqVDjtzL77Wc6NbqqM3XUxK3vaEQ8SP9rBRUzN5blA1XHT4GsPZhZeWErYv-0i5bXDYKeWzqdMgydrtfMrHTEsRW6z4_66ifwj2jLKk1wk-VOmDcskXOnyo9gdaRgvsupe1OwdLU4C94Royxy-scEkH3UtwLgsWrkeHGXqya5guLNgs-yZ0TtFJEsFmrgwm_PSUaiTBazIhEEfxNFN3OO/https%3A%2F%2Fdatatracker.ietf.org%2Fdoc%2Fdraft-ietf-regext-rdap-extensions%2F> [2] https://www.iana.org/assignments/rdap-extensions/rdap-extensions.xhtml<https://secure-web.cisco.com/13TkURRyA4Pku6YuFStyWR36dy9-JSVOkZNJyFBGB-CA_IGW6qFQTY3PMp271byL3G0guP4wM2kBt_HBbH030FMcmHkJvzam3PTZ_CU7a1oSI4LlcIIViW2AV_u-Z5co4e6JR1EoEAypqCG7SH3p-OSmsJGD222AlGgILf-kmcs8vQyCDG1WVrJrEERynusCoosbJGSg5ScGNT0UxwLMY0XctI98tLbG75Ihw4iSofOY2R0JXdl-sIeN1p5bc-J5wKuXSiITWwKuQ2vCrCe0Kcd8E_OCK9n6QLGFGGIdrb_Ds4t-i8kk9StqevHe96MCN/https%3A%2F%2Fwww.iana.org%2Fassignments%2Frdap-extensions%2Frdap-extensions.xhtml> [SAH] That's a good idea. For RFC-specified extensions, possibilities including removing extensions from the registry with instructions from a new RFC, and declaring the extension RC historic. Non-IETF extensions could be removed from the registry with a simple note to IANA. Scott
