Hello

I installed redhat 7.3 on a friends computer a few months back.

He called me on saturday and said that after putting a new
motherboard and processor into his computer GRUB freezes when
he boots his machine.

More precisely, when he boots his machine the list of possible
kernels to boot from is displayed but he can only choose the
one that is highlighted - the arrow keys don't move.

Other than that his machine works OK.

I will visit him tonight to play with his machine, but I was
wondering if anyone had any advice. Should I reinstall GRUB
álá:

   grub>root (hd#,#)
   grub>setup (hd#)
   grub>quit

Or does anyone have any other suggestions.
