Thanks Chris and Dan! Got bios flashed this am. It didn't solve the kernel panic problem with 7.3. Probably something I needed to tell the loader, but I didn't really have time to mess with that today.
I had downloaded 8.0 overnight (to windows) and burned the iso's with Nero, so I installed 8.0 to see what would happen. 8.0 picked up the card just fine.
