Has anyone attempted to download the latest Xfree86 system using the CVS on RH 8.0? And did you get it to install successfully? If so, would you be willing to assist me in doing the same?
So far I have downloaded and compiled Xfree86 however, I fear that it’s default install path’s differ from the ones that Red Hat uses.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated (I can’t get my system running without the video drivers that the latest CVS contains).
