just an aside...

I have Win2K and WinXP both FTPing to my server. The easiest way I have
found to do this is to "Add Network Place". Follow the wizard and
Viola...no cp, no dir or ls, just drag and drop goodness. It's a bit slow
to connect and somewhat clunky, but it works for me.

The FTP command you want to use is 'put filename' or for multiple files
'mput *.txt'

I recently ftped to a Redhat Linux box and I could not copy the contents
of a file/directory on the C drive of the Win box into the ftp Linux
box. I tried cp but I could not copy the C drive. Does someone know how
to do this?
